This case came to us via a very large and prominent lab not comfortable making a partial. This remarkable Doctor took a very good impression for the amount of slot-type attachments. Unfortunately it was poured in stone when we received it. Sometimes we can work with stone, but most times not. The thin walls of stone usually chips during separation from the impression and will likely not make it intact through fitting the frame at final. These should ALWAYS be poured in a stable epoxy/resin even if it is one slot or six, as in this case. This gives us fighting chance of making a successful case in a near impossible situation.
